In case you missed it, watch the webcast of Digital Learning Day Live! 2015 above.
Digital Learning Day Live!, formerly known as The National Town Hall, is just one of thousands of celebrations that take place across the country in classrooms, schools, districts, and states on Digital Learning Day. As the culminating event of Digital Learning Day, Digital Learning Day Live! includes a stimulating discussion on what practices are driving education throughout the country and highlights examples of how great teaching, combined with effective technology, can positively impact America’s schools—particularly those that serve high-risk and high-poverty populations.
Each year, more than 40,000 viewers watch the live webcast and thousands of educators participate in the live chat to share resources and best practices. This year, Digital Learning Day Live! was held on March 13, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:15 pm. This year’s celebration had the distinct honor of being hosted with the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards’ Annual Teaching and Learning Conference at the Washington DC Convention Center. Therefore, in addition to the thousands of educators, students, and community members who participated in Digital Learning Day via webcast, hundreds of board certified teachers were present as part of the live audience.
